Cultivate Before Time
Cultivate Before Time is a mystery adventure game about a quaint village transported back in time, to the prehistoric age. I designed this promotional key art for EGX 2019.
Within the key art I needed to include the key features of the game: adventurous exploration theme, the two different environments (modern and prehistoric) and the main character from the game.

I experimented with different layouts and colours and ultimately decided on a flat valley style landscape to illustrate a sense of openness and mystery, with lush greens and shallow oceans that is characteristic of the prehistoric Jurassic era. The focal point of the modern day cottage in the foreground is distinguished by warmer and natural colour tones.
